2010 Behind the Scenes Award Recipient - Ramona Rose
Award Criteria
. The Behind the Scenes award honors a Native American Alaska Native (NAAN) member who has worked as successfully “behind the scenes.” Such characteristics are: when a person gives it their all when they think nobody else notices and/or accomplishes tasks that are usually taking on in the background to make the success a foreground.
The Visionary Award
2009 Visionary Award Recipient - Ken Bryant
Award Criteria
The Visionary Award honors a Native American Alaska Native member who has exhibited a unique talent in the NAAN organization to meet future demands and needs. Such accomplishments illustrate courage and perseverance against great odds or difficulties.
The Mission Impossible Award
2009 Mission Impossible Award Recipient - Carol Hogan
Award Criteria
The Mission Possible Award honors a Native American Alaska Native member for significant acts, services, or achievements that substantially aid the successful accomplishment of the Coalition mission.
The Excellence in Agency Awareness Award

Recipient - Arlander "Duff" Barker
Award Criteria
The Excellence in Agency Awareness Award honors a Native American Alaska Native member who most effectively publicized and promoted the organization to the FAA and others through sponsoring/attending public and government forums, media events, outreach, authoring articles, and/or briefing FAA and community user groups.
The Above and Beyond Award
2009 Above and Beyond Award Recipient - Gail Anaruk
Award Criteria
The Above and Beyond Award honors a Native American Alaska Native member who has gone “Above and Beyond” their duties and/or responsibilities for the well-being of the organization and its members. The positive and constructive acts embodied by this award include taking an active role by recognizing a need and doing what it takes to help NAAN grow.
